Client Terms & Conditions of Contact

All bookings are provisional until contract issued by Katie Halliday is signed and returned by the client. At this time all the terms & conditions of this contract apply.

A £100.00 deposit is required with the return of the signed contract unless otherwise agreed within 14 days of the date shown on the contract. Please note that non signature of this contract is not sufficient to cancel this agreement and all cancellation fees will be in force after the 14 day cool off period. Please also note that if your contract is not signed and returned during the 14 day cool off period you risk losing the booking, and the date may be re-sold.

In the case of cancellation on the clients’ part, deposits are non refundable or transferable after the 14 day cool off period.

All evening entertainment (in the case of live performance and booking Katie’s own DJ) is booked to perform between 7.30 pm & 12.30 am. Please ensure that Katie Halliday is aware of ALL time changes prior to the event and that the times you want comply with the venues licence.

Please also be aware that setting up will take between 45 minutes to one hour to set up and start time is completely dependent on access to the room. Should you require Katie Halliday to arrive prior to 5.30 p.m. there may be an additional fee to cover this extra time, please contact Katie Halliday as early possible if you become aware that this may be necessary.

The balance for your entertainment must be paid 14 days prior to the performance date. Please make all cheques payable to K Leigh.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the venue is suitably secured and has a safe 13 Amp/240 volt power supply.

The client is liable to pay for any damage of the artist’s equipment caused by drunken, disorderly or any other inappropriate behaviour of guests attending the function or event.

The client is asked to provide reasonable hospitality during the period of the event including refreshments and suitable, lockable changing facilities.

Where a contract is held in more than one name, then all persons named in the agreement will be deemed to be jointly and severally responsible for payment or cancellation.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Any cancellation made by the Client before the date of performance will result in non return of deposit paid.

Any cancellation made within 3 months before the date of performance 50% of the contract fee is payable.

Any cancellation made within 28 days before the performance date, full payment will be due.

Please note that any cancellation must be made in writing and acknowledged in writing by Katie Halliday to complete the cancellation.

In the unlikely event of illness or any other circumstances resulting in Katie Halliday being unable to fulfill the engagement, all monies will be returned to the client.
