Katie Halliday, Wedding Singer

Katie Halliday is a highly experienced singer, songwriter, wedding singer and entertainer.

She started out by being spotted by a respected talent scout based in the North West who worked for EMI music, and the BBC.

Katie has enjoyed performing live in many different venues, working in hotels, at private functions, corporate events, summer seasons (as part of a full production) and on cruise ships.

Katie got her first big break into her recording and writing career when she was discovered by BBC Radio One, who at the time, was looking for original songwriters for a new BBC1 show. After winning the majority vote from listeners, she got the chance to work with professional producers from the record industry, as a recording artist, performing her own song live on the Saturday prime time BBC1 show "Get Your Act Together" which was hosted by Ronan Keating.

Since then, her recording career has taken her to many parts of Europe, working with major record producers on various projects. She has supported pop bands such as Atomic Kitten, worked as a session singer for many professional named artists, including work at the studios of Gary Barlow.

Katie has had success with her own recording and songwriting career which led to a hit single in the Top 40 charts. She toured the UK and abroad, and has had songs appear on numerous compilation albums which have been distributed by EMI, Universal, and Sony. Her vocals have also appeared on various other tracks which have been released and been successful on chart topping albums.

Katie has had her own songs published, and has been recently enjoying performing for corporate parties, weddings, and other private functions.
